Birth of the Savior (1952)

An angel announces to Mary that she is to be the mother of Jesus. Mary visits with her relative Elizabeth; Mary is pregnant with Jesus and Elizabeth is pregnant with John the Baptist (Luke 1:39-56); Joseph is told by the angel to take Mary and go to Bethlehem, the city of David. There being no rooms at the inns, one innkeeper offers them use of the stable where the baby Jesus is born that night. Angels announce the birth of the Savior to the shepherds. They hasten to Bethlehem and bow down in worship at the Christ child's manger.
