After withstanding the temptation experience in the wilderness, Jesus approaches a group being preached to by John the Baptist. The Baptist says, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" Andrew and John ask Jesus where he is staying. Jesus says, "Come and see," and they go with him. Andrew gets his brother Simon and brings him to Jesus. Philip joins them while they are traveling, and then brings Nathaniel to meet Jesus. Hence, the first group of disciples, Andrew, John, Peter, Philip, and Nathaniel, become acquainted with Jesus, and he begins to teach them. A fine dramatization of events as depicted in John 1:35-51.
