Having fled from Jerusalem, Saul has lived quietly in Tarsus for ten years. Barnabas invites Saul to go with him to the pagan city of Antioch where a new church has been founded. In Antioch, Saul witnesses the sale of a slave girl to a rich nobleman, buys the slave and sets her free. The nobleman takes interest in Saul and becomes a follower of Christ. News comes of a famine in Judea and Galilee.
