Second Missionary Journey (1950)

Paul's second missionary journey unfolds. At Lystra, he discovers a spiritual son in the new disciple Timothy. Through the vision of the spirit from Macedonia to "come over and help us," he finds Luke, the doctor who is destined to become the beloved evangelist. The episode ends as Paul and Silas are beaten and jailed for freeing a demented slave girl from evil spirits. In episode 8 we experience the dissension in the early church over the question "Did Christ open the door of faith to the gentiles too?"
