Jesus and the Fishermen (1952)

The first disciples to follow Jesus were the four fishermen; Peter, Andrew, James and John. All had prior experiences with Jesus before the pivotal day that He visited them at the seashore and invited each to leave their nets and fishing business, "follow me" and become "fishers of men." First they travel to Capernaum, where Jesus preaches in the Synagogue and heals a demon-possessed man in attendance. Next Jesus heals Peter's mother-in-law and later many sick and afflicted that are brought to Him as word spreads of His healing miracles. The next day, very early in the morning, Jesus goes out to pray alone. The disciples find Him and they set off on their first tour of Galilee together.
