Larry, with his young wife and baby, have been relocating from one job to another. Some secret fear keeps Larry unsettled and he feels that everything he tries to do goes wrong. The kindly Christian owners of a motel and gas station in the small California town of Calabasas befriend them. All things work together when Larry comes to realize his need of Christ just before his secret past literally catches up with him.
